Hello Linux Geeksters.
In this article I will show you how to install uGet on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal and Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin.
uGet is an open-source download manager, running on Linux. It integrates easily with Mozilla Firefox, it has support for queue and resume downloads and ability to download via terminal.
How to Install uGet on Ubuntu 13.04, 12.10, 12.04:
$ sudo apt-add-repository ppa:plushuang-tw/uget-stable
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install uget
Thank you for this, I have Debian 7 wheezy and it seems like nothing is working like it should on it so this here was a very big help.
Debian Sid and Debian Jessie both have almost up to date versions of our app but Wheezy is heavily outdated. http://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=uget
Thank you for talking about our app and thanks for telling people to use the PPA as that is the most up to date option. For other distros, then getting our downloads from our website would be best. http://ugetdm.com
