Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Urban Lightscape is a photo filter for making corrections to photos, including brightness adjustments, dodging and burning and synthetic lighting. The latest version available is Urban Lightscape 1.3.0, which has been released a few days ago, coming only some fixes. For more information, see the official changelog.

In this article I will show you how to install Urban Lightscape 1.3.0 on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Linux Mint 14 Nadia, Linux Mint 13 Maya, Elementary OS 0.2 Luna and Pear OS 8.
Because it is available via some third party PPA, installing Urban Lightscape 1.3.0 on Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Elementary OS and Pear OS is easy. All you have to do is add the ppa to your system, update the local repository index and install the urbanlightscape package. Like this:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:dhor/myway
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install urbanlightscape
