Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Urban Lightscape is an open source application (and Photoshop plugin) for applying corrections to photos, including brightness adjustments, dodging and burning and synthetic lighting. The latest version available is Urban Lightscape 1.3.3, which has been released a while ago, coming with some fixes for some already known bugs.

In this article I will show you how to install Urban Lightscape 1.3.3 Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr, Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 17 Qiana, Linux Mint 16 Petra, Linux Mint 13 Maya, Pinguy OS 14.04, Pinguy OS 12.04, LXLE 14.04, Elementary OS 0.3 Freya, Elementary OS 0.2 Luna, LXLE 14.04, Peppermint Five and other Ubuntu derivative systems.
Because it is available via some third party PPA, installing Urban Lightscape 1.3.3 on Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Elementary OS, Pinguy OS, LXLE and Peppermint systems is easy. All you have to do is add the ppa to your system, update the local repository index and install the urbanlightscape package. Like this:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:dhor/myway
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install urbanlightscape
Optional, to remove urbanlightscape, do:
$ sudo apt-get remove urbanlightscape
