Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Virtual Machine Manager is a graphical user interface app for managing KVM, Xen and LXC virtual machines, via the libvirt library. This app is very useful because it enables the users to easily change the virtual machine’s hardware specs. The latest version available is Virtual Machine Manager 0.10.

In this article I will show you how to install Virtual Machine Manager 0.10 on Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 16 Petra, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Linux Mint 14 Nadia, Linux Mint 13 Maya, Pear OS 8, Pear OS 7 and Elementary OS 0.2 Luna.
Because it is available via PPA, installing Virtual Machine Manager 0.10 on the listed Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Pear OS and Elementary OS systems is easy. All you have to do is add the ppa to your system, update the local repository index and install the virt-manager package. Like this:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:virt-manager/stable
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install virt-manager
