Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Virtualbox 4.3.4 has been released recently.
In this article I will show you how to install Virtualbox 4.3.4 on Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr, Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 16 Petra, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Linux Mint 14 Nadia, Linux Mint 13 Maya, Pear OS 8, Pear OS 7 and Elementary OS 0.2 Luna.
Because it is available via PPA, installing Virtualbox 4.3.4 on the listed Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Pear OS and Elementary OS systems is easy. All you have to do is add the ppa to your system, update the local repository index and install the virtualbox package. Like this:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:dreibh/ppa
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install virtualbox
Mint 16 Petra (32bit clean install) gives this messages at the end.
Any suggestions?
