In this article I will show you how to install VueScan 9.2.23 on the most popular Linux systems, including: Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Debian, Fedora, OpenSUSE, Mageia, Arch Linux, Gentoo, Elementary OS, Deepin, Crunchbang OS, Knoppix, ROSA and many others.
Because VueScan 9.2.23 comes as a precompiled library, all you have to do to install / start using it is to extract the downloaded archive, set execution rights and execute the file:
How to install VueScan 9.2.23 on 32 bit Linux systems:
$ wget -c www.hamrick.com/files/vuex3292.tgz
$ tar -xzvf vuex3292.tgz
