In this article I will show you how to install Webcam Studio on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Linux Mint 14 Nadia, Linux Mint 13 Maya and Elementary OS 0.2 Luna.

To install Webcam Studio 0.61 on Ubuntu, Linux Mint and Elementary OS, you have to add the GetDeb repository to your system:

$ wget http://archive.getdeb.net/install_deb/getdeb-repository_0.1-1~getdeb1_all.deb
$ sudo dpkg -i getdeb-repository_0.1-1~getdeb1_all.deb

Update the local repository index:

$ sudo apt-get update

Install Webcam Studio:

$ sudo apt-get install webcamstudio

If you like bleeding edge technology, you can install the latest version available of Webcam Studio, from the daily builds official PPA:

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webcamstudio/webcamstudio-dailybuilds
$ sudo apt-get update
