Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, WikidPad is a wiki-like notebook, similar to Notepad, let’s say. While Notepad is useful for the developers, because of the many and powerful plugins it has support for, WikidPad is better for the other type of writers, because it allows the users to easily cross-link information.
The latest version available is WikidPad 2.2, which has got support for Ubuntu 14.04 and derivatives systems recently.
In this article I will show you how to install WikidPad 2.2 on Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr, Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 17 Qiana, Linux Mint 16 Petra, Linux Mint 13 Maya, Elementary OS 0.3 Isis, Elementary OS 0.2 Luna, Pinguy OS 14.04 and Pinguy OS 12.04.
Because it is available via the GetDeb repository, installing WikidPad 2.2 on the listed Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Pinguy OS and Elementary OS systems is easy. All you have to do is add the ppa to your system, update the local repository index and install the wikidpad package.
