Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, WizNote is an open-source, multi-platform note application with support for creating interactive notes with embedded images and links and categorize them intro groups for an easier search. Also, it synchronization support and enables the users to create a secured notes server in a private network.

The latest version available is WizNote 2.1.7, which has been recently released. For more information about WizNote, see the official site.
In this article I will show you how to install WizNote 2.1.7 on Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr, Linux Mint 17 Qiana, Pinguy OS 14.04 and Elementary OS 0.3 Isis.
Because it is available via PPA, installing WizNote 2.1.7 on the listed Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Pinguy OS and Elementary OS systems is easy. All you have to do is add the ppa to your system, update the local repository index and install the wiznote package. Like this:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:wiznote-team
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install wiznote
Optional, to remove wiznote, do:
$ sudo apt-get remove wiznote
