In this article I will show you how to install XFCE Theme Manager 0.3.6 on Xubuntu 14.10 Utopic Unicorn, Xubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr and other Ubuntu 14.10 and Ubuntu 14.04 derivative systems that use XFCE as the default desktop environment.

Because it is available via PPA, installing XFCE Theme Manager 0.3.6 on Xubuntu 14.10 and Xubuntu 14.04 systems is easy. All you have to do is add the ppa to your system, update the local repository index and install the xfce-theme-manager package. Like this:

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:rebuntu16/other-stuff
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install xfce-theme-manager

To launch the application, just open a terminal, type xfce-theme-manager and hit enter.

Optional, to remove xfce-theme-manager, do:

$ sudo apt-get remove xfce-theme-manager
