HP Is The First OEM Partner Of Ubuntu Kylin

Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Ubuntu Kylin is an official Ubuntu flavor, developed by Canonical, China Software and Integrated Chip Promotions Centre (CSIP) and National University of Defense Technology (NUDT), for the Chinese users, providing a desktop environment in Chinese and the popular software that the Chinese people need, installed by default.

HP Is The First OEM Partner Of Ubuntu Kylin

The first Ubuntu Kylin OEM partner is HP, who already provides laptops with Ubuntu pre-installed in more than 1500 stores, Ubuntu Kylin being an official flavor, starting with Ubuntu 13.04. Also, Dell sells laptops with Ubuntu Kylin pre-installed. Also, a bunch of Chinese schools will receive HP computers running on Ubuntu Kylin.

After Windows XP has reached end of life, the Chinese government has encouraged all the users to switch to Ubuntu Kylin.
