Eviacam is an awkward software from my point of view. It is a mouse replacement that moves the pointer based on your head’s movement. Some geeks call this a Facial Mouse software. To use this app, you only need a webcam.

Installing eViacam on Ubuntu 13.04 “Raring Ringtail”, Ubuntu 12.10 “Quantal Quetzal” and Ubuntu 12.04 “Precise Pangolin” is very easy. All you have to do is:
1. Add the eviacam repo to your system:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:cesar-crea-si/eviacam
2. Update the system:
$ sudo apt-get update
3. Install the eviacam app:
$ sudo apt-get install eviacam
This installation should also work on Linux Mint 13 and Linux Mint 14, but I have not tested it.
