As you may know, Mixxx is an open-source application for DJs. Among others, it has support reading songs and playlists via iTunes, has support for over 30 DJ MIDI controllers and syncs the tempo of two songs for beatmixing. Also, the users can create a playlist and let the Auto DJ take over.

It can work with MP3, M4A/AAC, OGG, and FLAC audio, adjustable EQ shelves, timecode vinyl control, recording, and Shoutcast broadcasting.

Installation instructions:
To install Mixxx on your Ubuntu system, you have to add the PPA to your system, update the local repository index and install the mixxx package:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mixxx/mixxx
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install mixxx
The installation instructions should work on Ubuntu 15.10 Wily Werewolf, Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr, Linux Mint 17.x, Elementary OS 0.3 Freya and other Ubuntu derivative systems.
