How To Install Picapy 2.1.2 On Ubuntu 15.10, Ubuntu 14.04 And Derivative Systems

As you may know, Picapy is a nice application for managing and uploading PicasaWeb images, enabling the users to easily upload more than one image at once, delete them or get the URLs.

The latest version available is Picapy 2.1.2, which has been recently released a while ago, bringing a few fixes only.

Installation instructions:

The latest version of Picapy is available via some third party PPA, so installing the software on Ubuntu systems is easy.

You have to add the PPA to your system, update the local repository index and install the picapy package:

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:atareao/atareao
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install picapy

Optional, to remove picapy, do:

$ sudo apt-get remove picapy
