Install PowerTOP 2.1 on OpenSUSE 12.1 and OpenSUSE 12.2

As you know, PowerTOP is a usefull application. It is used for finding out the biggest power consumers, when the computer is idle. In this article I will show you how to install PowerTOP 2.1 on OpenSUSE 12.1 and OpenSUSE 12.2 .

First, you have to download the powertop*.rpm file:

$ wget download.opensuse.org/factory/repo/oss/suse/x86_64/powertop-2.1-1.2.x86_64.rpm

Install PowerTOP:

$ sudo rpm -i powertop*
