As you may know, Virtualbox is the most popular, free, cross-platform virtualization software.
The latest version available is Virtualbox 5.0.12, which brings the below changes:
- Fixed the validation of IPv6 port-forwarding rules
- Improved handling of text selection mouse pointer
- added LBA64 support for being able to boot from huge hard disks
- Fixed .desktop file compatibility issue
- kernel 3.10.0-327.el7 included with the latest RHEL 7.2 release
- Fixed a crash during VM shutdown
- Fixed broken emulation if software virtualization is used
Installation instructions:
The latest versions of Virtualbox 5.0 are available via the Oracle Repository, so installing the software on Ubuntu systems is not too difficult. You only need to remove the previous version of virtualbox, add the repository to your system, add the repo key, update the repository index and install the virtualbox-5.0 package.
