Vokoscreen 2.4 (Open-Source Screencast Recorder) Is Available Via Repository For Either OpenSUSE 13.2 Or OpenSUSE 13.1

As you may know, Vokoscreen is a screencast recorder, ideal for performing recordings of browser, installation tutorials and video conference recordings. It can record via webcam, a selected area on the screen or the entire screen, permits the users to set the frame number and choose the recording format and has a simple and intuitive user interface.

The latest version available is Vokoscreen 2.4, which has been recently released, bringing small changes.

Installation instructions:

Up to date Vokoscreen packages are available via some third party repositories, so installing the software on the latest versions of OpenSUSE should not cause too many difficulties. Follow the instructions for your system exactly, in order to get a successful installation process.

How to install Wine on OpenSUSE 13.2 (instructions for both 32 bit and 64 bit systems):

$ sudo zypper ar -f http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/ecsos/openSUSE_13.2/home:ecsos.repo vokoscreen
$ sudo zypper refresh
$ sudo zypper install vokoscreen

How to install Wine on OpenSUSE 13.1 (instructions for both 32 bit and 64 bit systems):

$ sudo zypper ar -f http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/ecsos/openSUSE_13.1/home:ecsos.repo vokoscreen
$ sudo zypper refresh
$ sudo zypper install vokoscreen

Optional, to remove vokoscreen from either OpenSUSE 13.2 or OpenSUSE 13.1, do:

$ sudo zypper remove vokoscreen
