Zotero 4.0.27.2 brings small fixes only.

As you may know, Zotero is a free, cross-platform tool that helps the users collect, organize, cite and share research sources. This software allows the users to add PDFs, images, audio and video content, snapshots of web pages, indexes everything in a library and provides a searchable interface, for an easier organization of data.
It is available as either plugin for LibreOffice, Mozilla Add-on or standalone application. The latest version available is Zotero 4.0.27.2, which has been released a while ago, bringing changes:
-
Fixed too-large icons in secondary toolbars on Windows/Mac systems
-
Fixed Quick Copy in tab mode
-
Fixed intermittent Standalone-Firefox communication failure at Zotero startup on some systems
Installation instructions:
Zotero is available via some third party PPA, so installing the application on Ubuntu should not cause too many problems. Just add the PPA to your system, update the local repository index and install the zotero-standalone and package:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:smathot/cogscinl
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install zotero-standalone
Also, if you want to easily search in the zotero database, install qnotero from the same PPA:
$ sudo apt-get install qnotero
Optional, to remove zotero-standalone and qnotero, do:
$ sudo apt-get remove zotero-standalone qnotero
The installation instructions should work on Ubuntu 15.04 Vivid Vervet, Ubuntu 14.10 Utopic Unicorn, Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr and derivative systems like Linux Mint 17.2 Rafaela, Linux Mint 17.1 Rebecca, Linux Mint 17 Qiana, Pinguy OS 14.04, Elementary OS 0.3 Freya, Deepin 2014, Peppermint 6, Peppermint 5, LXLE 14.04 and Linux Lite 2.
