Lightworks 11.5 For Linux Is Now Available For Download

Hello Linux Geeksters. The first stable version of Lightworks for Linux if finally available. For those who don’t know yet, Lightworks is a movie editor, very popular in the film industry.

The latest version available is Lightworks 11.5, coming with impressive features. Among others, it got support for decoding AC3M, support for exporting video to Avid DNxHD MOV with the option EditShare MOV and MXF files MXF OP1a, and a big number of bug-fixes.

Requirements for Lightworks 11.5 for Linux:

  • OS: Ubuntu/Lubuntu/Xubuntu 13.10, Mint 15, 16 or Fedora 18, 19
  • CPU: Intel i7 chipset or faster, fast AMD chipset
  • Memory: 3GB RAM or higher
  • Storage: 200 MB
  • Screen: Two high-resolution displays (1920 x1080) or above

Download Lightworks 11.5 for 64 bit Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Linux Mint 16 Petra, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Fedora 19 and Fedora 18 systems
