Linux Kernel 3.9.7 Has Been Released | How To Install Linux Kernel 3.9.7 On Ubuntu And Linux Mint

Linux Kernel 3.9.7 has been released today. The new Linux kernel comes only with minor fixes and driver updates.

In this article I will show you how to install Linux Kernel 3.9.7 on Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 15 Olivia, Linux Mint 14 Nadia and Linux Mint 13 Maya via an installation script.

All you have to do is download the script and run it:

$ sudo apt-get install lynx
$ wget -c https://linuxg.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/install.txt -O installkernel.sh
$ sudo sh installkernel.sh
