Linux Mint 17.2 RC Rafaela has been released in the XFCE and KDE flavors, using Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr as code-base.
Both the two flavors use Kernel 3.16 as default and include updates for the Login Screen, Software Sources, artwork, better UEFI support, enhanced support for Nvidia and Optimus video cards and Language Settings and includes LibreOffice 4.4.3 and Inkscape 0.91 as default.
The XFCE flavor uses XFCE 4.12, while the KDE version comes with KDE 4.14.2.
