Linux Mint 17.3 Rosa Has Been Released, Using Kernel 3.19

Linux Mint 17.3 Rosa has been released, in the two traditional flavors: Cinnamon and MATE.

The Cinnamon version uses the brand new, Cinnamon 2.8 as the default desktop environment, while the MATE variant uses MATE 1.12. It updates the Update Manager tool, the Driver Manager has received improvements and the Login Screen has been modified and Kernel 3.19 as default.

Cinnamon 2.8 brings changes, including better settings, backend, and window management, improvements for Nemo, updates the sound, power and workspace switcher.

MATE 1.12 comes with an enhanced Application Menu, support for Openbox, Compiz and Compton.
