Linux Mint 17 Cinnamon And Linux Mint 17 Mate Have Received Updates

Recently, Clement Lefebvre has updated Linux Mint 17 Cinnamon and Linux Mint 17 Mate, releasing some V2 images of the two Linux systems.

Among others, MDM has received some fixes for the non-xrandr GPUs, Driver Manager has received fixes, some fixes regarding the installer that corrupts the APT sources have been corrected and all the bug-fixes added in the latest month have been added to the ISO images.

If you already use Linux Mint 17 Cinnamon or Linux Mint 17 Mate, all you have to do to get the latest fixes, is:

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Or, if you don’t have Linux Mint 17 installed, download the Linux Mint 17 V2 ISO images from the official site.
