Hello Linux Geesters. Linux Mint Debian (LMDE) 201403 stable has been finally released (after only one RC version) and is now available for free download.

Linux Mint Debian (LMDE) 201403 Has Been Finally Released

Linux Mint Debian (LMDE) 201403 is available for both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures, integrates the latest Update Pack 8, comes with both Cinnamon 2.0 and Mate 1.6, has support for UEFI and comes with some of the new tools integrated in Linux Mint 16 Petra.

Minimum requirements:

  • 1 GB of RAM
  • 5 GB of disk space
  • 800 x 600 minimum resolution

For those who don’t know, Linux Mint Debian (LMDE) is based on Debian Testing (not Ubuntu), which is Debian Jessie now, and uses the Debian packages as a base.
