As you may know, openSUSE 13.1 Milestone 4 (the latest version before Beta) has been released today, for testing. If everything goes well, openSUSE 13.1 will be released in November, this year.
At the beginning of this year, the YaST configuration tool has been rewritten in Ruby, in order to make it faster. The new version of YaST has been included in the latest openSUSE version released.
OpenSUSE 13.1 Milestone 4 is available with both KDE Workspaces or GNOME 3.9.8, comes with LibreOffice 188.8.131.52, mc 4.8.9, qemu 1.6.0rc1, hyper-v 5, GTK 3.9.8, wine 1.6 and many other applications already installed, and uses MariaDB instead of the old MySQL.
