Linux News: OpenSUSE launches Li-f-e 12.3.1

Hello Linux Geeksters.http://en.opensuse.org/images/6/65/Edu-suse_life-cd.png

The openSUSE Educational team has released the first openSUSE 12.3 derivate, Li-f-e 12.3.1 (Linux for Education). Li-f-e comes with the most popular desktop environments, like Gnome, KDE or Cinnamon.

I think Li-f-e will be a healthy competitor for Edubuntu, and a strong release in the GNU/Linux educational segment.

Minimum System requirements:

  • 1GB of RAM
  • 15GB free space

If you want to try Li-f-e, you can download it:

If I have made you courious, see more information on the official Li-f-e page.
