Canonical’s Łukasz Zemczak has announced that Mir 0.14 has been added to the development branch of Ubuntu Touch, bringing impressive bug-fixes and performance enhancements.

The developers are working hard at getting Mir ready for the stable branch, to be available for the Ubuntu Touch OTA-6 Update. Also, the Notes app has been updated and will be added to the Ubuntu Store soon and some ubuntu-keyboard improvements have been performed.
As a reminder, Ubuntu Touch is a stable operating system, but it is not mature enough, compared to Android and iOS. For now, there are three Ubuntu Phones: Bq Aquaris E5 HD, Bq Aquaris E4.5, Meizu MX4, but the system is also officially supported on the LG Nexus 4 device.
