MWC 2014: Antti Saarnio Has Demoed Both The Angry Birds And Makia Clothing The Other Halves Covers

Hello Jolla Enthusiasts. As you may know, the Jolla developers have been invited at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014, where they have demoed two new “The Other Half” covers, announced the partnership with F-Secure, which provides the Jolla users access to the Younited cloud, in order to easily backup and share their on-device data, announced the release of Sailfish 1.0 which is the first stable version of Jolla’s OS and demoed Sailfish OS running on Google Nexus 4, Samsung Galaxy S3 and Xiaomi Mi2, among others. Also, the QWERTY Other Half Keyboard prototype for Jolla has been spotted.

The geeks from JollaUsers.com have posted a video of Jolla’s Antti Saarnio demoing both the Angry Birds and the Makia Clothing covers. See the video for yourself.

For those who don’t know yet, Jolla is a project developed by former Nokia employees. The first Jolla smartphone is running on Sailfish OS, a modified Megoo Linux system, which is Android compatible, uses Wayland as the default display server , uses Nokia N9′s Maliit touchscreen keyboard and comes with interchangeable covers, allowing the users to easily switch them, in order to change the color/model of the phone and comes with impressive hardware specifications.
