Hello Nokia and Jolla Enthusiasts. As you may know, Nokia N900 is one of the latest smartphones using Maemo, a mobile Linux operating system. Now, some third party developers creating Neo900, a new Maemo-based smartphone, with better CPU and memory than the good old N9, plus 4G LTE support.

Hardware specifications:

  • 3.5 inch display, 800 x 480 pixel resolution
  • TI OMAP 3730 ARM Cortex-A8 single core processor
  • up to 1GB of RAM

There is no information about the storage memory yet, but more likely it has support for microSD cards. It is available for $1000, which is an over estimated value.

The good thing is that it will have native support for other Linux based mobile systems, including Firefox OS and Ubuntu Touch.
