The first phones running on Firefox OS will be sold in Venezuela, Poland, Brazil, Portugal and Spain, at a small price, less than $50. They also aim to extend their cheap smartphone’s sells to India and China.
The Mozilla developers plan to also implement their new operating system for television sets and wireless routers.
Creating cheap smartphones may be a successful financiar recipe. While all the producers create expensive phones, the cheap ones may have big success in the poor countries.
