According to the Google blog, Google will add free WiFi connections to all the Starbucks Coffee Shops from the USA, in the next one year and a half. There are more than 7000 Starbucks stores in USA, so this would be good for both the two gigants.
“When your local Starbucks WiFi network goes Google, you’ll be able to surf the web at speeds up to 10x faster than before. If you’re in a Google Fiber city, we’re hoping to get you a connection that’s up to 100x faster.”, said Kevin Lo, General Manager of Google Access.
When you go to Starbucks, search for the “Google Starbucks” connection.
