Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Nitrux OS is a set of handcrafted icons, containing more than 6.000 items. The latest version available is Nitrux OS 3.17, which fixes many icons, including: Kmail Import Wizard, Expoblending, Photo Layout Editor, Qcomicbook, QMKVextractor, Cmplayer, MPV, MKVmerge, SoundKonverter, XTerm, UXTerm, and FinalTerm.

In this article I will show you how to install Nitrux Icon Theme 3.17 on Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Pear OS, Elementary OS, Debian, Crunchabang and KWheezy systems, using GTK based desktop environments.
Because the Nitrux Icon Theme 3.17 is not available via any ppa, we have to download the 7z archive, extract the archive and move the extracted content to /usr/share/icons:
$ wget nitrux.weebly.com/uploads/1/9/8/8/19881405/nitrux.7z
$ tar -xJvf nitrux.7z
$ cp -R {NITRUX, NITRUX-Buttons} /usr/share/icons
