Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, Numix is a GTK3 theme, compatible with Gnome, Unity, XFCE and Openbox. The latest version available is Numix 2.0, which has been recently released.
In this article I will show you how to install the Numix 2.0 GTK Theme on Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr, Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander and Linux Mint 16 Petra.
Because they are available via ppa, installing the Numix 2.0 GTK Theme is easy. All you have to do is add the ppa to your system, update the local repository index and install the numix-gtk-theme numix-icon-theme numix-wallpaper-saucy packages. Like this:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:numix/ppa
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install numix-gtk-theme
