OpenJDK 7 Repatched With Better Font Support

Hello Linux Geeksters. A repatched version of OpenJDK7 has been created, with some font fixes. A ppa is available only for Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail and Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin.

The fix is available only for OpenJDK 7, it does not work with the Oracle Java or OpenJDK 6.

So, to upgrade your OpenJDK 7 to the version with better font support, do this:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:no1wantdthisname/openjdk-fontfix
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

To revert the changes, do:

$ sudo apt-get install ppa-purge
$ sudo ppa-purge ppa:no1wantdthisname/openjdk-fontfix
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get upgrade
