OpenSUSE 12.3 has been officially released

Today, on the 13th of March, 2013 OpenSUSE 12.3 has just been officially released.

OpenSUSE 12.3 is more than an update brought over 12.2, it comes with many new technologies and applications, to make the users happy.

OpenSUSE 12.3 is running the Linux 3.7 kernel and is integrated with systemd, bringing support to many features, like:

  • RAID 10
  • SMBv2
  • NFS 4.1
  • btrfs snapshot diffs
  • aggressive SATA device sleep for both HDD and SSD
  • higher TCP performance

And, as you know, openSUSE 12.3 is a stable version.

OpenSUSE can be downloaded in many flavours, like Gnome, KDE, XFCE or E17.
