Peppermint Four, based on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail has been released.
Peppermint OS is a lightweight Ubuntu based Linux distribution, ideal for old computers. Peppermint Four has LXDE installed by default, uses Xfwm4 as a window manager, the default one for XFCE 4, and Aero Snap, for maximizing windows by dragging them to the top of the desktop.
As an office suite, it uses GWOffice, which has support for Google Docs, withount needing to have an internet browser opened. Among other features, it integrates its own system for the use of other applications with Saas, using a framework called ICE. It also landed with Chromium, LibreOffice, Evolution Email Client, audio and video codecs, Microsoft fonts, Flash Player and Java.
