A petition asking Google to create a Google Drive client with native support on Linux has been created on change.org.

Last year when Google Drive was created, big G promised that there will be also an native client working on Linux
systems.
But maybe Google ignores to create a Linux client for Google Drive on purpose, since it has support for Chrome OS. This may be a strategy to make linuxers switch to Chrome OS, but I highly doubt that it will work.
For now, there is a Google Drive Client for Windows, Mac, Android and iOS only. If you want to contribute, sign the petition here.
