Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, PicUntu is a special Ubuntu version designed to work on the Rockchip ARM processors. The latest version available is Picuntu 5.1 Beta, which is based on Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr. It is available in three flavors: DesktopPicUntu (a desktop version, running XFCE4) , BasicPicUntu (the basic version of Linux) and ServerPicUntu (a server edition with LAMP).

PicUntu 5.1 Beta is optimized for the MarsBoard RK3066 developer board, which is a single-board ARM computer, having a dual core ARM Cortex A9 CPU, ARM Mali-400 GPU, 1 GB of RAM Memory, 4 GB internal storage and support for microSD cards, USB, Ethernet, HDMI ports and other pins and connectors.
