Support ArkOS’s “Self Hosted Web” Project

Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, arkOS is a new Linux system, based on Arch Linux, which enables the users to easily create their own cloud service on a Raspberry Pi ARM board. The Genesis graphical tool allows the users to easily install WordPress or OwnCloud, in order to turn your RasPi board into a web server.

Now, Jason Cook, the main arkOS developer has started a croudfunding campaign, in order to create a small plug and play device that turns into an independent cloud service which provides the necessary internet services like website hosting, chat, email when connected via the Ethernet port.

Cook’s project is quite interesting, we’ll see if he manages to successfully raise $45.000 in 24 days. See the above video for more information.
