Unity 8 Will Use Canonical’s Own Internet Browser As Default

Hello Linux Geeksters. Mark Shuttleworth has confirmed at the Ubuntu Developer Summit (UDS 14.03) that Unity 8, which will be most likely used by default starting with Ubuntu 14.10 (desktop), will come with a new internet browser, developed by Canonical.

Canonical Will Not Replace MySQL 5.5 With MariaDB, On Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr

Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, MariaDB is a community fork of MySQL, released under an open source license. despite the fact that it is relatively new, it has been already adopted as the default on Fedora and OpenSUSE.
