Hello Linux Geeksters. As you may know, iConsole.tv is a gaming console running Android but features a Linux Desktop. It good hardware specifications, including: Intel Haswell CPU, Iris Pro graphics, 8 GB of RAM, 500 GB Solid State Hybrid Drive, Bluetooth, Wifi and Ethernet port. It can be used with both gamepad and keyboard + mouse.
Since it has good hardware, a x86 (32 bit) architecture and is both Android and Linux compatible, the developers of the iConsole.tv aim to add SteamOS support. More information can be seen found here.
Despite the fact that this Android gaming console is not as popular as Xbox or PlayStation, used with a Steam Controller it can really provide a Steam Machine-alike experience.
