Hello Jolla Enthusiasts. The Jolla team has been invited at FOSDEM (Free and Open Source Software Developers’ European Meeting) 2014, which is scheduled for 1-2 February 2014, in Bruxelles.

For those who don’t know yet, FOSDEM is a free to join event where open source communities meet and discuss ideas. Also, many important developers talk about their products and technology.
Representing Jolla/Sailfish OS:
Carsten Munk – Technical introduction to the deeper parts of SailfishOS, a Qt5-Wayland based mobile OS
Philip Van Hoof – Metadata indexing and RDF SPARQL endpoint for mobile and embedded
From what I have seen on the FOSDEM website, many other Linux and related projects will be in talks, including:
- Mate – The famous Gnome 2 Fork
- Enlightenment as standalone Wayland compositor
- Making the Linux Kernel better
- How to build a Tizen device at home
