Hello Linux Geeksters. Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr will get a new set of icons. The new icons were presented at UDS 2013, by James Mathieu one of the Canonical designers, which has been worked for over a year, at the new icons.
The icon set did not reach a stable version yet and so, the design of the icons might change until they are implemented in the first stable version of Ubuntu 14.04.
As a reminder, the first alpha version of Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr LTS will be released tomorrow, on the 19th of December 2013, but we don’t know if the new icons will be implemented by default.
