As you may know, Tickr is yet another RSS news feed reader for Linux, displaying feeds as a smooth scrolling line. Also, the users can Bookmark their favorite feeds, customize scrolling speed, update delay, fonts and collors, display text inside a draggable window, pause/play/replay/rewind feed or click on a news to open it in the browser.

The latest version available is Tickr 0.6.4, available via the default repositories of the latest Ubuntu systems and their derivative systems.
So, to install Tickr 0.6.4 on Ubuntu 15.04 Vivid Vervet, Ubuntu 14.10 Utopic Unicorn, Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr and derivative systems, like Linux Mint 17.2 Rafaela, Linux Mint 17.1 Rebecca, Linux Mint 17 Qiana, Pinguy OS 14.04, Elementary OS 0.3 Freya, Deepin 2014, Peppermint 6, Peppermint 5, LXLE 14.04 and Linux Lite 2, you only need to update the local repository index and install the tickr package:
