Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander Reached The Final Freeze State

Today, one of the Ubuntu developers have announced that Ubuntu Saucy has reached the final-freeze state, so it won’t get any new features from now on, until the release date, only bugfixes.

In this remaining week, the developers test the RC versions of Ubuntu Saucy hard, in order to find and fix as many critical issues as they can.

As a reminder, Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander will not be using Mir/XMir by default, despite the fact that this was Mark Shutteleworth’s initial plan.
