Ubuntu Touch Got Both Mir And Unity 8 Updates

Hello Linux Geeksters. As a reminder, both Ubuntu Touch 1.0 and Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander will be released on the 17th of October, 2013. While Canonical has dropped the implementation of Mir/XMir by default, on Ubuntu Saucy, Mir will be used on Ubuntu Touch.

Ubuntu Touch 1.0 will be released with Mir and Unity 8. The Ubuntu mobile OS has been updated again, coming with many fixes and new indicators, including a new network indicator. The update also includes some Mir improvements and enhancements.

For now, Ubuntu Touch is officially supported only on the Google Nexus phones and devices, but it has been also experimentally ported to OPPO Find 5 and Sony Xperia Tablet Z.
