Ubuntu Touch OTA-10 Will Be Released In April

As you may know, Ubuntu Touch is the mobile version of the Ubuntu desktop, specially created by Canonical to compete with Android and iOS. Unlike the two mobile operating systems, Ubuntu Touch gets updated a lot more frequently.

Recently, Ɓukasz Zemczak from Canonical has announced that the Ubuntu Touch OTA-10 Update is under massive development and should be released for all the supported devices, including the brand new Meizu PRO 5 Ubuntu Edition and BQ Aquaris M10 Ubuntu Edition tablet.

Among others, the new Ubuntu Touch Update will bring the new Dash navigation, a new side-stage of the Ubuntu tablet, support for hardware keyboard layouts and a desktop mode toggle. Also worth mentioning, it includes a fix for the Bluetooth pairing in System Settings, updates for the Web Browser app bring better support for Google Maps and many other changes.
