As you may know, Ubuntu Touch, which is the mobile version of Ubuntu, is available by default on Bq Aquaris E5, Bq Aquaris E4.5, Meizu MX4, but officially supported on the Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 devices.

Canonical is constantly updating their mobile OS, trying to release a new OTA update with each 6 weeks. This time, they had to delay the release of the OTA-9 update due to some regressions that occurred and need to be fixes.
Yesterday, Canonical’s Łukasz Zemczak has announced that the Ubuntu Touch OTA-9 Update received a new thumbnailer and updates for the dialer, telephony-service, location-service, history-service, Ubuntu UI Toolkit and media hub.
As a reminder, Ubuntu Touch OTA-9 is scheduled to arrive on the 27th of January, 2016.
