As you may know, Ubuntu Touch is the mobile version of Ubuntu, developed by Canonical and supported by a big community of users.

Despite the fact that it is Linux-based just like Android, it provides a different approach, has its own gestures, next generation desktop manager and permits the users to do a lot of customizations and tweaks.
While Ubuntu Touch is officially supported only on Bq Aquaris E4.5, Bq Aquaris E5, Meizu MX4, Nexus 4 and Nexus 7, the Ubuntu enthusiasts have started porting the operating system for their own devices.
A lot of developers have managed to port Ubuntu Touch, but only a few of them have been able to make the GSM or Bluetooth work.
Recently, an Ubuntu fan has ported Ubuntu Touch to the LG Optimus G yet again (a similar project has been started but discontinued before), but we don’t know much about this, yet.
